Bundes, also known as kits, also known as composite variants, is a functionality that allows you to group and sell goods together as one finished product. Stock&Buy automatically calculates and tracks bundle inventory levels, costs, and weights as the bundle parts change over time through sales, purchases, and adjustments.
Creating bundles one by one can be time-consuming if you have hundreds of items to configure. This article outlines the steps you need to follow to set up one or more bundles in one go via a CSV file.
To create bundles in bulk, please follow the steps below:
- Login to your Stock&Buy account
- Go to the Inventory page
- Click on Import Bundles located at the top-right corner of the page, under the “…” button
- Follow the on-screen instructions:

Design your bundles in a CSV file
After you have uploaded the CSV template file, open it and fill in the required data using your favorite CSV editor program ( Google Sheets, Excel, Numbers…).
The bundles’ template file has the following structure:
Bundle SKU | The product variant’s SKU to convert to a bundle Note: Leave this empty if you want to search your products by Barcode |
Bundle Barcode | The product variant’s barcode to convert to a bundle. Note: Leave this empty if you want to search your products by Sku |
Component SKU | The product variant Sku you want to bundle into the parent bundle above Note: Leave this empty if you want to search your products by Barcode |
Component Barcode | The product variant Barcode you want to bundle into the parent bundle above Note: Leave this empty if you want to search your products by Sku |
Quantity In Bundle | Number of units to bundle |
Is Bill Of Material (True/False) | Indicates whether this is a Bill of Material Note: Set this to True to create a Bill of Material, False to create a bundle |
Once the file is uploaded, the system will automatically configure your bundles / BOMs and calculate their stock levels from the specified parts.
