Adding and updating products
You can add or update information about a product such as its price, variants, and availability from the Inventory page.

Add a new product
To add a new product:
- Go to the Inventory page
- Click “+ Create Product” or “+” button at the top right corner
- Enter a title and additional details for your product
- Click Save
Duplicate a product
To save time when you add a new product, you can duplicate a similar product. If you want to add options to an existing product, such as color or size, then add a variant to the product instead of duplicating the product.
When you duplicate a product, all the details such as SKUs, barcodes, bundle contents are copied to the new product.
To duplicate an existing product:
- Go to the Inventory page
- Click the name of the product that you want to duplicate
- In the product details page, click Duplicate menu item located under the Save button
- Modify the product details
- Click Save
Edit a product
After you’ve created products, you can edit them to change their descriptions, prices, and any other product details.
Although you can change your product details at any time, the changes can take a few moments to appear in other areas of Stock&Buy such as the search box within the Sales and Purchase order views.
To edit an existing product:
- Go to the Inventory page
- Click the name of the product that you want to duplicate
- Modify the product details
- Click Save
